June Redfern is a renowned oil and watercolour artist whose form and subject matter often explore expressionist representations of Scottish landscapes. Redfern studied at the Edinburgh College of Art.
Her work is often large-scale and atmospheric in composition. Much of Redfern’s early work explores the female figure, and her repertoire is marked by two notable stages, which move from bold and expressive styles to lighter and softer styles.
The artist currently lives in London, and she is a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, London.
